1. Who we are and how to reach us

Autograph Travels Ltd, a travel house based in Nairobi, Kenya, is responsible for the information you share with us. You can reach us about your data at any time through our contact page.

2. What we collect

When you use the enquiry form, we collect what you choose to give us:

• Your name, email, and phone or WhatsApp number.
• Details of the trip you are planning: markets or journeys, rough dates, trip length, who is travelling, your budget guide, what matters most to you, and anything you add in your own words.
• For group and event enquiries, your organisation, role, group size and programme dates.

We also record limited technical information to run the site and reply well: the page you sent your enquiry from, a timestamp, and where present the campaign the visit came from. Through analytics we see general usage such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location.

3. The lawful basis for holding it

We hold and use your information to answer your enquiry and to take the steps you have asked us to take towards planning a trip. Depending on the request, we rely on your consent, on our legitimate interest in responding to the people who contact us, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

4. How we use it and who processes it

We use your information to reply personally, to plan and cost your trip, and to stay in touch about that enquiry. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your agreement.

A small number of trusted providers process information on our behalf, including our client management system, NairoCRM, and our email and document tools, Google Workspace.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only as long as we need it to help you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and then we remove or anonymise it.

6. Your rights and how to exercise them

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to stop or limit how we use it, or to send it to you or another provider. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya.
